The first round pick in 2020 is top 20 protected. If the Thunder don’t get the 76ers’ first round pick in 2020, they will instead get two second round picks in both 2022 and 2023.
Grant played in 2 games (0 starts) for the 76ers this year and he averaged 20.5 minutes, 8.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots per game. Grant has now played in 144 games (63 starts) in his first three years in the NBA and he is averaging 24.2 minutes, 8.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.4 blocked shots per game. Ilyasova played in 3 games (0 starts) for the Thunder this year and he averaged 20.7 minutes, 5.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 1.0 steal per game. This deal was made specifically to add defense to the Thunder to help replace Serge Ibaka (who was dealt to Orlando for Ilyasova over the summer).
